Shaped by receding glaciers, the Great Lakes are the largest freshwater system in the world. Through locks, canals and interconnected rivers, ships can transit the waterway from Minnesota to the Atlantic Ocean. In all, the Great Lakes form over 11,000 miles of shoreline which lend themselves to magnificent golf clubs, from modern links at Arcadia Bluffs and The Straits at Whistling Straits, to lesser known hidden gems like True North Golf Club.
