2027 New Zealand Golf Tour – March FAQs

This 10-day golf and touring journey by air takes place March 1-10, 2027, and travels through Napier, Kerikeri, and Te Arai. Along the way, guests enjoy some of the world’s top-ranked golf courses, luxury lodge accommodations, wine country experiences, wildlife encounters, and guided excursions set against some of New Zealand’s most dramatic coastal scenery. Kalos Golf manages all accommodations, transfers, luggage handling, golf arrangements, and daily logistics throughout the journey.

Golfers play Cape Kidnappers, Kauri Cliffs, Te Arai Links – North Course, and Te Arai Links – South Course, with two rounds each at Cape Kidnappers and Kauri Cliffs. The itinerary features four courses ranked among Golf Digest’s World’s 100 Greatest: Cape Kidnappers, Kauri Cliffs, and both courses at Te Arai Links. Together, these courses represent some of New Zealand’s most celebrated coastal and clifftop golf experiences.

Yes. Both courses at Te Arai Links are walking-only. Caddies are available at an additional cost. Golfers who require a cart for medical reasons may request an exemption, but cart availability at Te Arai is extremely limited and cannot be guaranteed in advance. If available, carts are typically confirmed on the day of play. Costs for caddies and medical carts will be communicated ahead of arrival.

New Zealand golf is defined by dramatic natural settings and a remarkable sense of place. On this itinerary, guests play clifftop fairways perched above Hawke’s Bay, oceanfront holes carved into old sheep-ranch land, and links-style courses shaped by dunes, forest, elevation change, and coastal views. Cape Kidnappers, Kauri Cliffs, and Te Arai each offer a distinct version of New Zealand golf, making the itinerary especially appealing for travelers who value scenery as much as shot-making.

Guests can choose from three ways to experience the journey: Golf, Golf Select, and Touring. Golf includes the full golf program, complemented by select touring experiences throughout the journey. Golf Select combines a selection of featured rounds with additional touring opportunities, and Touring is designed for guests who wish to focus primarily on New Zealand’s celebrated landscapes and cultural experiences. Whether you prefer to spend your days on the fairways, enjoy a balance of golf and sightseeing, or focus on New Zealand’s scenery, heritage, and local culture, there is an option tailored to your interests.

Yes. This tour works well for non-golfing spouses or companions because the touring program includes nature, wine, history, art, wellness, farms, and scenic landscapes.
